hairrrr & eyess !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
okay so im half mexican and 1/4 white and 1/4 unknown. im medium tan, not dark but not pail at all. i get dark in the summer. naturally i have green eyes with a thin line of brown around the pupil, and as a baby/kid i had dark brown then blond then medium blond then back to light/medium brown. now if i had it its natuaral color it would be lgiht/medium brown which i love but i also love dark brown hair. ive dyed it black before and i hated it on me. ive also tried dark brown and i love it but i love my natural color also! i have hard to straighten hair. takes about an hour to an hour and a half to straighten and it never gets completetly straight and/or stays straight. its naturally curly/wavy and if i leave it like that its a total uneven friz ball. so everyday i either have to put mousse in it or straighten it. i wish i could take a break of doing anything with it in the morning and i could walk out of the house. so ive been thinking of permeinetly straightening it.

my questions are:
*should i permenentaly straighten my hair ? if so, dark brown hair or light brown hair ?
*should i keep it curly and deal ? if so, dark brown or light brown hair ?

I would have to see a picture of how you look to give you advice on how your hair should be.

Inside the Koran
Inside the Koran (2008)

IMDB rating: 6.20

Plot: Filmmaker Antony Thomas explores the Muslim faith and its holy book, the Koran, in this thoughtful documentary. Talking one-on-one with practitioners of every walk of life, Thomas examines how more than a billion Muslims living in the world today relate to the holy text of their religion.

Directors: Thomas Antony

Actors: Martin J.V.,Documentary

Just watched "Inside the Koran" (NatGeo TV) Do you really understand why we are involved in Muslim countries?
I know I’ll get those within the Christian and Jews that will go off on their Rants and scream salvation, and Born Again and all the other related dogma that they have accepted. As one that doesn’t accept the Bible either, I wonder what they are afraid of in trying to understand how these Billions of Humans think. If you haven’t watched it, I found it interesting and without drawing a firm conclusion, one has to wonder why America and the world are aligned with Arabi and the Wabi sect at all… One thing I learned tonight is… The Korans interpretation is part of the problem that has lead to the division of the faith into various Sects and unlike the Christian and Jewish religions that seem somewhat accepting within their Faiths, even though I don’t trust the American Christian community. The Sunni and Shia sects are in conflict because of their diverse interpretations that introduce a preKoran way of looking at things. The Sufi seems to be the most tolerant of the Muslim sects while the Wabi, (Saudi) interpretation seems to be the most intolerant and contentious or violent. It really makes you wonder why they are our allies and why we don’t gravitate to the Sufi. Anyway, if you wonder why your neighbor is dieing and you want to answer the question. Do you really understand why we are involved in Muslim countries? Then you should want to watch this 2 hour program.

If you wonder why I ask the question, then you should know this…

I’m for bringing our guys homein 18 months and cutting off all aid and sales of weapons to Saudi Arabia while building more ties to Egypt, Turkey and more moderate states as well as addressing Afganistan, Yeman, Somolia on a individual terrorist fight rather than all out war… Perpetual war just weakens us and is draining our strengths. It should worry you that the worlds monetary power is shifting to Dubai and other Red Sea countries.

I WATCHED THE SHOW BUT WHAT ARE WE TO DO WITH THOSE MUSLIMS WHO WANT TO KILL US.

Are you aware that the Saudis have built over one thousand Wahhabi sect mosques in America. Google it.

Agree with most of your point of view. All aid US provides needs to involve good governance and if transparency is not shown aid should be stopped. What is happening with Egypt is exactly the opposite of what I stated.

Can you help me wih choosing an audition song for a musical?
I am auditioning for a musical in drama. The musical is going to be Fiddler On the Roof.
I am cannot sing songs from that play, but I need help with a song to sing for auditions. The music director suggested to not sing anything that is rock and roll like, or anything too jazzy. They do not want ANY songs from the musical CATS, ANNIE, RENT, CHICAGO, SPRING AWAKENING, WICKED…. Nothing someone would see at the age odf 10. I am 16 yrs old and my vocal range is a mezzo soprano…. help!!!

I’m a soprano, but I have a HUGE repertoire of songs of all vocal ranges. Here are my favorite mezzo-soprano songs; some are more overdone that others, but they may suit your voice really well. If you think your director might want you to avoid any of these show, eliminate the song only after you have thought about whether you could sing the song well.

A Change In Me - Beauty and the Beast
A Trip To The Library - She Loves Me
Always True To You In My Fashion - Kiss Me Kate
As Long As He Needs Me - Oliver!
Astonishing - Little Women
Born To Entertain - Ruthless!
Change - A New Brain
Every Story Is A Love Story - Aida
God Help The Outcasts - The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Hold On - Secret Garden
Home - Beauty and the Beast
Honey Bun - South Pacific
How Lovely To Be A Woman - Bye Bye Birdie
I Don’t Know How To Love Him - Jesus Christ Superstar
I Enjoy Being A Girl - Flower Drum Song
I Know The Truthe - Aida
I’ve Got The Sun - Annie Get Your Gun
Little Lamb - Gypsy
Spanish Rose - Bye Bye Birdie
The Gentleman Is A Dope - Allegro
The Girl I Mean To Be - Secret Garden
The Past Is Another Land - Aida
When You Got It, Flaunt It - The Producers
Wherever He Aint - Mack and Mabel
Wonderful Guy - South Pacific
You Can’t Get A Man With A Gun - Annie Get Your Gun

I too am a Mezzo Soprano and its very difficult trying to find songs which would suit your voice which doesnt fall under those catagories.
are the ones you do not wish to sing from the ones which you feel are "overused" or that they requesting not to sing from these.

I chose to not use songs which many knew of, but many musical numbers are well known so I managed to adapt "cry me a river" by Elle Fitzgerald to adapt to my vocal range which worked very well and did not sound very jazzy unlike the original and also Caro Mio Ben is a beautiful song which shows your range which i have used for auditions.

good luck, hope you find something suitable x

Sing something that you love and do very well and have fun performing it. That is what the director loves to see.

Capote is implacable, wanting the story, believing this book will establish a new form of reportage: he must figure out what Perry wants.
